Update of holidays

Been busy with things ever since we came back from our holidays. I updated the other blog of what we did in Philippines and Cambodia. I should put up some here when I get the time. We also went on open homes to see houses but in the end, decided to get a brand new house. It was either too small or too expensive. None satisfied both of us. Now with the new house, we are thinking of switching to another area which has more land value. The only thing is I don't like the house plan for the house and land package. I prefer the current house plan. I was hoping that I could use the current house plan in the other house land package. Hopefully things turn out to be ok. =)


I also do hope the year is going to be good. =) With the new house plan and current new roles, we will be both busy. When we settle in the new house, we will be busy arranging things. I can't think of anything else to update at the moment but will try to keep thinking and putting it down.

Halfway through

Another day passing by and time is running out for me. I mean my holidays. I still have one week of annual leave but I hope to keep it for next year if any cousins are coming to NZ for holiday and I can go with them to tour the backyard of my house.

Don't plan to go overseas until I save up enough for my dream location. Those who know me will know where I mean. =)

It is relaxing and nice during holidays and time sure pass real fast. I wish time would stop. I don't like the heat here but it sure is nice to be spending time with relatives and family. Anyway, when it is back to reality, I shall work hard to get to where I want myself to be.

I should stop rambling already and enjoy my holiday. I shall blog more when I am back to reality.

I imported all the posts from my wordpress into the other blog so officially, the other blog has more posts than this blog even though this blog is the oldest one. Lol..

We were chatting last night about first jobs and being grateful of crappy things that happen to us. I do appreciate having a first job in an insurance industry. Probably is the best thing that happen to me. I think, without it, I wouldn't be able start off in such a nice office job.

I haven't really found a job in anything that I want to be in just because most employers want experience. I did complain that without the first job experience, I will never find it.

Recently, I have been given the opportunity to do a project-based work. With this experience, I am hoping that I can go elsewhere for a better pay job. I will explain why I said better pay job later. I do hope that I can stay on permanently in this new role but it really depends on where there is a vacancy or not.

Better pay job? I need to save more money for upcoming expensive holidays which I want to go. We have been saving hard for ourselves, for a new house, holidays and savings. But I don't think it is enough so I need to equip myself with experience so I can move on to a higher pay job = save more money.

Lol I talk too much. Need to get ready for church soon.

Rambling on

If readers read the other blog, this might as well be a duplicate. I was going to ramble on about my Auckland trip. You see, I need to maintain 3 blogs so I tend to talk about the same things in these 3 blogs. I don't blog here often so it is probably not so detailed.

So yes, my Auckland trip was short and tiring. I wanted to make full use of my time there. Slept less and see more. Gosh.. today is Monday and I am so tired. I need to txt sis to tell her about something but I am too lazy to get up to take my phone. Bleh and I am hungry. Too lazy to cook too.

Holidays

I am sure everyone do want to go on holidays at times, am I not right? When you go on holidays, you do want to make sure that you have all the things ready, for example the car and the accommodation.

So how about the famous vacation place, hot humid beach place? It is Hawaii Island. I am so excited to go now.

This reminds me, I also want to suggest to my friends that we should go on holidays together before the summer starts. I thought spending holidays with friends is fun. I did when I went on the kayak trip with my friends last summer. I am not sure what my friends thought but I think from what they were talking, they don’t really like it. Maybe it was something to do with something. I don’t really want to say it but I say, choose the right friends to go with. Otherwise you would end up fighting over small matters.

So, should we make Hawaii our next destination? If yes, we should start checking out Hawaii vacation info. Next is the Big Island vacation rentals or the Maui vacation rentals as we need to go around the place in our own vehicle.

Hotel to Reserve

It sure is interesting to travel around Europe. One of the country which I would want to go is Spain. I have only less than one month time left to spend in UK so I should so travel to this place. I think I can find cheap flights easily but where can I find last minute hotel booking?
Ah.. now this is the answer. CheaperthanHotels.co.uk to the rescue. Now I don't have to worry about booking last minute deals on Spain hotels.

Or maybe I should give my parents a chance for them to go on holidays by themselves. Valentine Day is coming soon and they should spend a romantic holiday in Spain. I don't think they have been to Spain so this is definitely a good chance for them to go without my sisters and me tagging along. Hehe..

Besides Spain, they could also go to Mallorca. It is one of the largest island of Spain, located in the Mediterranean Sea and part of the Balearic Islands. The island is a popular tourist attraction. Island places are certainly very beautiful and they could just sit by the beach all day. :) There are also good deals on Mallorca Hotels. There are also good hotel deals on Lanzorote Hotels and Menorca Hotels. Lanzorote is the easternmost of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, which is approximately 125km off the coast of Africa. One of the main features there are the beaches. I think I would definitely like to go because there are water activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing and canoeing.

The main tourist ares are on the southern and eastern coast but places may be crowded in high season. The more secluded and quiet beaches can be found on the island but the route to go there is probably difficult and there are also minimal parking. Hmm.. I should start planning now.

I am back again this time from another trip. Went to Newcastle. Holidays as well. At least I enjoyed myself. Anyway, I guess I was away for too long.

So much things happen to my flatmate. I just hope she is ok. After she texts me that she lost her father, I was in shock. It made me realise that sometimes we take things for granted in life. We enjoyed ourselves too much and did not think of others. I think I do this kind of stuff. Well, it's not that I want to say to people. I just want to say how I think of myself. I think I do enjoy things too much without thinking for others.

So, I should focus on my family while I am at home.

I think I do eat a lot when I am at home. More like twice the amount I ate when I went to other place or either friends' house. Weird.

Also want to say, two cousins of mine has a new domain with their own names. It's just so cool to have one. It made me think of getting one. But really, I don't think I can write nice posts just like them. But I do need to learn. Anyway, I should really focus on doing this kind of stuff in January when I have more time at home.

Yes, I should also spend some quality time at home. Actually, this will be my holiday in London. So yup, I enjoyed every single day I have spent in London. I also lazed around, truly my holiday.

Holidays

As I have mentioned about travelling to Paris in the previous post, I should talk about going to Edinburgh as well. It was really fun to hang out with relatives and one of the best trips we had despite no amusement parks like Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studio's Park. Though I had fun at Disneyland, it is not the same as having relatives and family members around.

Anyway, I wanted to put some photos here from the trip but I haven't chosen any yet. Will do that right after I found a perfect photo.

Look at this photo. Isn't it wonderful to look at it? It just looks so nice. I was telling mum that I was stepping on French soil at the moment. We did not went up. Just looking from a distance and taking photos. I don't think we had enough time to go up as we had to go to other places as well.

Holidays

Hmm.. On hiatus for quite a long time. I travelled to places with my family. It is really wonderful to visit new places and experience something that you have not experience.

It is also wonderful to spend time with family and relatives. When you have not spend time with them for a certain length of time, you tend to have more fun than usual and you will also appreciate the time spent.

Anyway, I am thinking to blog about the wonderful places I went. But in a different post as I need to choose the photos. The sceneries at those places certainly wowed me.

Flights to USA

The other day, I woke up to see mum and her friends talking. I overheard them talking about flying to USA for holidays. Then, I dreamt that I flew to California, USA for holidays. It must be really fun to play in Disneyland or just anywhere within USA. Oh I just remembered, I think I wrote a post on DialAFlight before. Maybe they have flights to USA. I should check if they have holiday offers which I can take instead of just flights. I could also fly to Washington to see the White House. Or maybe I can fly to New York to see the high rise buildings and see how the city life is like. Hmm.. this is cool. Right, I should go check DialAFlight and start booking New York flights and Washington flights.

Tour

I toured around London today and it was so tiring. Much more tiring than the last time I went with mum a year ago. I discovered a lot more stuff, like say Science Museum and Natural History Museum. I went to some parts of the museum I haven't been to. Well, it's also because I was walking around both museums by myself and wasn't really enjoying alone. It's good to have cousins to go around. Now, I think I can sleep more cos I am tired. I do enjoy my sleep very much. :)

Should I change the date and time in this blog? Cos it is NZ timing and I kept thinking that I wanted to blog when I know I don't have to. But but, I should just blog whenever I want to. I just realised today is 23 November and the next day after that is my sister's birthday. Hmm.. I should wish my sister happy 13th birthday. She is turning 13. For a moment, I thought she is still 12. Oh ya, she said that she is taller than me but I can't see any difference. I think we are both same height. Maybe you can say that I don't want to admit but really, I cannot see if she is taller than me or not. Maybe we should use the measuring tape. Hehe. Ok, I should get back to sleep. It's early in the morning. I woke up automatically cos I slept early last night. I was tired and sleepy. I wanted to go online so I can chat to friends who are back in M but none of them are online so I am going back to sleep. I am going window shopping later and the library. :)

Boo

After coming back from my kayak/Abel Tasman trip, I was left to clean up my flat. How annoying. My flatmates left some stuff in the fridge and freezer. I didn't clear the food that my other flatmates left there. I only cleared my close flatmate and my own stuff. Wow, both of us got so much food left and I couldn't finish it the last few days even though we didn't eat out. I gave some of the rest to my friends and my landlord-to-be. My friends even commented that they don't think they can finish the food. I forgot to tell them to give to others who are staying back.

Anyway, I am back at home and it feels wonderful though I do miss gatherings with friends. Nevermind. There's always next year. So far, I have been relaxing at home. It's back to doing house chores, washing up and vacuuming. Yea, I am doing vacuuming in the afternoon later when I think none of my friends are online.

Wonderful

It's wonderful to be back at home. I just had my first meal at home. It was definitely delicious and I bet you that I will be fatter when I return to NZ the following year. Anyway, my flight was quite good and I am sleepy now. So, I will blog more when I have the time. Hmm..

Kayak

Kayaking is actually a fun and interesting activity to do. Though it is dangerous, but it is really a once in a lifetime experience. I pushed back my date to go back later just to go on this trip with my friends. I was so nervous on that day and as I sat in the kayak. I was afraid of the kayak not on balance enough. It was really tiring kayaking non-stop as well. On the first day of kayaking, the weather was really good and I find it easy to kayak. Oh, you know what, I feel seasick while I kayak. How stupid can that be? I felt like vomiting all the time but I did not. The kayak journey from original place to the place where we stayed the night was 4 hours. But we kayak for more than 5 hours as we went to other beaches and stopped there. We also kayak around a small island. The second day, the weather was really rough. We managed to reach the original place where we started. I kept wanting to give up on the journey but my friend who was sitting behind me encourage me to keep on going. The waves were quite big and I kept on thinking, oh no, we're gona get overturned. If we got overturned and couldn't get back into the kayak, we have a flag to wave for help. I was so ready to do that but eventually, my kayak buddy and I reached the shore safely. We were all practically covered with salt from the sea.

Hotel Rooms

Anyone going to travel around UK soon? Hmm, actually I am hinting on myself. I will be travelling with my family soon and it would be a good idea to start looking for accommodation around the place we are going to visit. Sometimes I think I find myself very picky when it comes to hotel. Every time I stayed in a hotel, I would check out whether the beds are comfy or not. I am also quite particular with the toilets. I would check them out. I would take photos of the hotel room as well. Sounds weird, right? But that is me. One good thing is that this Blackpool hotel website will let me check how the room will be like so I won’t be that curious when I stay over. There's a review if no one wants to believe me.

Amusement Parks

I always have a thing for amusement parks. Talking or thinking of amusement parks make me excited. Why is it? Could it be the image of roller coasters? Yup, I definitely love any type of roller coaster from dry ones to wet ones.

Isn't the amusement parks cool? I just love the feeling of going down and screaming.

Since I am going to London in three weeks time, I should probably thought of going to this theme park in UK. Blackpool has the UK’s oldest amusement parks and is also one of the UK’s biggest tourist attractions. They have some of the UK’s and the world’s best rides voted by visitors. I would love to sit on the rides. It just sorts of gives me happy feelings.
