Snow

I should mention about photos here. Had snow last Saturday. I was going to stay at home to finish off assignments so I can start studying for exams soon but something came up. It snowed that afternoon. It doesn't always snow in Christchurch so I dropped my books to go play snow fight with friends. Some photos taken of us are really very good. Let's have one nice picture here. =)

Anyway, at least I blog here. I haven't been blogging a lot lately. Have been getting lazy to blog about stuff.

Rewarding self

Know what? I just realised there are so many good movies coming out. I can't wait to watch them but really, watching them in the cinemas would definitely cost me a lot. But really there are so many. I could have a long list if I do have time to think about it. But my friends and I have decide to watch at least once a month in the cinema. It is also to reward ourselves after a month long of study. Some of us are in third year and some in the second year and study is getting complicated. Timetables are from early mornings till evenings. So, we thought of rewarding ourselves with watching movies. Currently we have planned to watch the old Pride and Prejudice, it is a 6-hour non stop movie. We are planning for a perfect timing as most of us has weird timetables. Some finishes early afternoons and some late afternoons. So all the best to friends!

Captain Planet

As I promised to put in Captain Planet from comments on Power Rangers. Hehe, I remember watching Captain Planet series in Kuching.

I remember I was given the character of having the heart power. Hehe.. the smallest in the group. :)

Fun

As usual, I am just doing my online-ing rounds when I heard on the news that North of UK has heavy snows. Wow, I really want London to have snow. How I wish to play snow with my cousins. I wish to throw snow at them too. It would have been so fun to throw at them. That is not my real main purpose. I just want to have fun with them, just by walking around in the snow with them, make snowman and throw snowball at them while laughing. Now, isn't that fun?

Holidays

As I have mentioned about travelling to Paris in the previous post, I should talk about going to Edinburgh as well. It was really fun to hang out with relatives and one of the best trips we had despite no amusement parks like Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studio's Park. Though I had fun at Disneyland, it is not the same as having relatives and family members around.

Anyway, I wanted to put some photos here from the trip but I haven't chosen any yet. Will do that right after I found a perfect photo.

Flights to USA

The other day, I woke up to see mum and her friends talking. I overheard them talking about flying to USA for holidays. Then, I dreamt that I flew to California, USA for holidays. It must be really fun to play in Disneyland or just anywhere within USA. Oh I just remembered, I think I wrote a post on DialAFlight before. Maybe they have flights to USA. I should check if they have holiday offers which I can take instead of just flights. I could also fly to Washington to see the White House. Or maybe I can fly to New York to see the high rise buildings and see how the city life is like. Hmm.. this is cool. Right, I should go check DialAFlight and start booking New York flights and Washington flights.

Kayak

Kayaking is actually a fun and interesting activity to do. Though it is dangerous, but it is really a once in a lifetime experience. I pushed back my date to go back later just to go on this trip with my friends. I was so nervous on that day and as I sat in the kayak. I was afraid of the kayak not on balance enough. It was really tiring kayaking non-stop as well. On the first day of kayaking, the weather was really good and I find it easy to kayak. Oh, you know what, I feel seasick while I kayak. How stupid can that be? I felt like vomiting all the time but I did not. The kayak journey from original place to the place where we stayed the night was 4 hours. But we kayak for more than 5 hours as we went to other beaches and stopped there. We also kayak around a small island. The second day, the weather was really rough. We managed to reach the original place where we started. I kept wanting to give up on the journey but my friend who was sitting behind me encourage me to keep on going. The waves were quite big and I kept on thinking, oh no, we're gona get overturned. If we got overturned and couldn't get back into the kayak, we have a flag to wave for help. I was so ready to do that but eventually, my kayak buddy and I reached the shore safely. We were all practically covered with salt from the sea.

Trip

Yup, I was on hiatus. I went on a kayak trip with my friends. It was really fun and interesting and very adventurous. I am glad I went on the trip. I mean, do I even get a chance to kayak if I don't agree to go on this trip. This trip also bonds our friendship even more. I got to know them more as well. Though it is scary to kayak in the sea but the sceneries and views are so nice, so incredible. We went to one of the beaches which is one of the top 5 beaches in New Zealand. My friend asked me if I wanted to go again. I don't really know how to answer. One thing that I don't really want to go is that I was seasick. I couldn't believe that I could get seasick.

Fun

3 down, 1 more to go. This afternoon exam? Hmm.. I don't really know how to answer exactly. I wouldn't say it's ok or not ok. It's more like half half. I just hope that it goes ok and not that really bad grades when I get the results. Right after exams, I went with friends for dinner and headed to Warehouse. They bought some stuff. I don't really know if I needed anything. I think I should start packing bit by bit. Anyway, tonight is the Guy Fox's Night. Don't know if it's spelt that way or not. I wanted to go with friends but none of them have a good plan of all of us going together so didn't really go.

Amusement Parks

I always have a thing for amusement parks. Talking or thinking of amusement parks make me excited. Why is it? Could it be the image of roller coasters? Yup, I definitely love any type of roller coaster from dry ones to wet ones.

Isn't the amusement parks cool? I just love the feeling of going down and screaming.

Since I am going to London in three weeks time, I should probably thought of going to this theme park in UK. Blackpool has the UK’s oldest amusement parks and is also one of the UK’s biggest tourist attractions. They have some of the UK’s and the world’s best rides voted by visitors. I would love to sit on the rides. It just sorts of gives me happy feelings. Labs are fun

Yes! This time, I got the chance to take picture of what I we played in class. First time, I did not get the chance because I was too scared to take out my phone from my bag which was too far from where I was standing. The second time, my phone happened to be in my jacket pocket. Anyway, this is what we were supposed to make.

Just to show that we used gloves so our hands are clean but smell of gloves. Li insisted that I take every inch of the hill/mountain, whatever you call.

Isn’t this fun? I have to admit that labs this semester made me more awake. But lectures made me sleep more often.
