Best

I just got an inspiration to talk about airlines after reading my cousin’s blog. She talked about which airlines she thinks it’s the best. So, we both think that Emirates is the best.

my personal opinion - Emirates is one of the best airline company…the toilet is clean to start with. I’ve been on to Qatar Air, Uzbez Air, Emirates, British Airways…and the best must go to Emirates! The airport is already better than any…..of Singapore airport, which I transit in last summer, is even better! aha…it’s spacious and has enough resting place for those that are transiting.

That is her opinion, now it’s my turn. I like to think it is because of the comfy-ness of the seat. When you are travelling almost half way around the world, you would definitely pick the airlines which has comfortable seat, not forgetting the route availability and when you are travelling by yourself most of the time. I think I am like a mute when I am on board. I don’t talk, not even when they ask me what I want to eat. I just took off my earphone and nod to whatever the air stewardess said they have.

I don’t really care about the toilets because I think all the toilets look the same and whether it’s clean or not, I am only there for a while. How about the airports? Hmm, I hate transiting in a foreign airport but what to do? I need to transit to be able to go to my destination.

More opportunites

Before I moved overseas to further my study, I think I do ever think how it feels like to work overseas. I thought of working in Australia because I kept hearing people who study overseas eventually graduated and stay on to work, instead of coming back home to work. One of my cousin used to study in Australia but did not choose to stay back there to work. Now, I think it is harder for him to find work there, so I think I should suggest him to browse for jobs on jobs.com.au. They post daily news, articles that is related to jobs, trainings, etc on multiple industries in Australia. Never know if he could find one and end up going there.

Massage Chair

Don't you think you always come across those kind of massage chair when you are walking around in the shopping centre? I know I have. I recall my uncle who decide to have a trial sitting on the massage chair and enjoying the massage. We always get stopped by the people wanting the adults to have a trial and hoping that they will buy. Honestly, I would buy if I am the kind who likes to have massage on my body by the end of the working day.

Massage Chairs

There are lots of different types of massage chair so you would have to choose the ones you prefer. It does affect how you would like your massage chair to be. So, by the end of your working day, you can just sit in the massage chair in your living room before you take your shower and your dinner. Now isn't that great? :)

Photoshop-ed

See how cute Brownie was? I really miss Brownie. He is such a cutie. I miss how he used to stand up and look at me, ready to pounce on me when I come to pat him. He will lie on his back and start chewing my fingers when I pat him on the chest. I guess Brownie is not brown after all. He got even more whiter as he grew up. When he was born, he was a bit brown.

Sherp photoshop-ed the photo.

I really feel like hug Brownie and squeezed his ear.

Thinking

At dinner, I told my family members about my hometown news and they were shocked. I was washing dishes just now and also thinking at the same time. I realized that my hometown is pretty much like every city or town, not really that innocent. I used to think my hometown is boring, nothing very interesting. Well, I was wrong. To think in my fifteen years, I grew up knowing nothing and really innocent. Hmm.. it just makes me think.

Wonderful

It's wonderful to be back at home. I just had my first meal at home. It was definitely delicious and I bet you that I will be fatter when I return to NZ the following year. Anyway, my flight was quite good and I am sleepy now. So, I will blog more when I have the time. Hmm..

Scary

I got to say something. You know how I quit my job? I told my boss that I will be studying for exams. But that Monday, it was Labour Day and my friends and I went to the mall to check out the sales. And, my flatmate and I saw our boss and her son there. She was pointing at us and saying that, I thought you guys wanted to study. My flatmate quickly gestured me to walk away from there while smiling. She thought it was scary but I think it’s alright. Anyway, what right does the boss have to say if we don’t want to work?

What should I be when I grow up?

You Should Be a Politician

Confident, assertive, and dedicated - you know what you want in life and how to get it.
Stubborn and opinionated, you can stand your ground... even if it's unpopular.
And while you have strong views, you never overwhelm people with your opinions.
A true charmer, you subtly influence people into seeing things your way.

You do best when you:

- Work according to your own rules
- Can change the world with what you do

You would also be a good lawyer or talk show host.

Don't you think this does not apply to me? I am not even on the track to become a politician. I am not even a good talking person. Everything comes out from my mouth are rubbish.

Sleepy Head

Don’t you feel uncomfortable sleeping on bed that you don’t like? I used to like sleeping on a soft bed, maybe I was so used to sleeping on one. But when I went back home, the bed I slept on was hard and I always took a long time to fall asleep. There were few nights that I kept tossing and turning until my sister yelled at me to stop.

Switching back and forth of hard or soft beds is also not good for your body. Maybe I should get two beds, one for me to sleep at home and another one for me while I am abroad. Well, I should probably have a good bed like French beds. Those are quite good beds. I would definitely want to choose a wooden bed. Wooden beds always fascinates me.

Loans

I have seen quite few loans offered by bank or even government. Here, Inland Revenue offers students student loan, which sounds like a very good loan to students. I mean, which student is rich enough to have his or her own income. Even if they are working, the income probably don’t cover a lot of expenses.

If you're looking to get a new car before you start working or just starting a family and you want to buy a house for your family, there is personal loan, new car loan or home loan, etc. If you want to buy a completely new house, you would need loan unless you’re very rich.

Anyway, I like student loan type. I could always loan to pay for my fees, and I can also get student allowance since I live in New Zealand. This would definitely help me financially. Of course I wouldn’t want to get into debt so I have to budget and also don’t get the loan too much.

Cheap loans

For those of you staying outside New Zealand and would like to know more about cheap loans, I am sure that you find information within unsecured loans and homeowners loans. You can also compare cheap loans as well.

Jobs

Now I really understand the real working. Well, I never expect to be working perfectly and never do mistake. I am still not going to give up working even if I am making mistake.
Note that I am not quitting my work just because of miscalculation.
Anyway, it's not my fault because missing $10 because I know I did count and take money from customers properly. I was never told to check how much was the change in the cash register before I started. It could be the boss making mistake also. Why must it be me.
Anyway, forget about it.
I am glad that I have had an experience of waitress.
I think I have enough of waitressing job. I think I should concentrate on study from now on.
I want to stop working also because I wanted to spend my time for study.
At least I can have some peace and time for myself and also study.
As long as everyone is happy, I don't mind doing this.
Ok, back to study for my test.

Portable Scanners

It is so easy to bring a laptop around. It has wireless connection and all that provided. This is good especially for students in university. But when you are doing your school work and need something to scan it, you would be wondering, I think I need a scanner. At times, I do that.

But do not worry, Scanshell store is here to help you and me out. They have portable scanners which are small, making it easy to be carried around and plus, it is lightweight. It is an A4 sheet-fet scanner, so I think it still do the same like normal scanner. These scanners uses USB 2.0 port connection and there is no external power needed. How amazing is that? It also has high resolution of 600 dpi and the colour.

Oh, by the way, this scanner can be used for faxing, email and organise all business matters. So, it is a very good deal for businessmen or businesswomen.

portable scanner

After talking about this, I think I should go ahead and order one. I think if you buy now, it only cost you less than the normal price. So, you should go ahead and order now. Check out Scanshell now.

Dreams

I don't want to sound like I am talking out of my dreams.
And I am not dreaming. I remember I was awake.
Then, my whole room seem to shake. Then, it was my bed.
Stop.
I was thinking, what was that.
For a moment, I thought it was a dream.
But it wasn't. It was an earthquake.
Much later when I got to uni, I asked few friends of mine and they said that one of the screens in class was also shaking which was unsual.
See? I did not dream or imagine.
It was an earthquake.
Wow, I have experienced earthquake three times. The first time, it was in Wellington, I was still sleeping that time. I had my dad to confirm that it was indeed an earthquake.
The second time, I was staying in anther uni accommodation and I had a few friends confirming.
This is the third time.

garage lighting

Well, after talking about getting garage, certainly you will want to get lights to be put inside? Otherwise how are you supposed to see when you are in the garage? Anyway, garages don’t usually have that many windows so you definitely need lights. How would you to have them grouped together? What lights do you have in your garage? Do you need more lights in your garage? What kind of lights do you need for what projects? Well, ask CarGuyGarage.com and they will help you out to choose the best garage lightings.

Great!

Now with work and studies, I find that I go online less often. It's good, right? At least I am not a geek sitting in front of the computer all the time. And I make an effort to really study and have more time to go through my assignments. That is cos I don't want to fall behind my studies as I am also working.
Great!

Work

Want to know about my work?

It was ok, despite having a few angry and anxious customers. I don't know why I should choose Friday. Friday is a busy day to handle takeaways and dinners. I also have to serve the customers cos there were only me and this other guy working that night. I can tell you that we definitely need more people so I asked my boss that Em wants to work and if it is possible. She said it's ok. So now at least I have someone to bike with me there. Em said to bike by the way. So, what else I did? I took orders for takeaways and did the payment. Both times when Anu came to pick me up, she commented that I smelled tasty and she wanted to eat me the moment I stepped into the car. Haha..

Unwanted thoughts come out

I realise I watch a lot of movies this year compared to last year. I don't know if it should good or bad. One good thing is that I watch it with friends. My flatmate and I watched it with different friends every time, I should think. It's always nice to go to movies with a big bunch of friends. And you're supposed to socialize as well. Can't just sit at home doing nothing. You will be called anti social.

Now, people here would call you anti-social if you don't mix around. I understand that because I know I do that to people. Going out once in a while with friends doesn't hurt. If you don't hang out with friends, you would be called hermit. Now that is funny. Hermit? The word represents something which always stays inside. Anyway, you are not always young so you should enjoy life to the fullest. You never know when you are called to go to the Lord. There's one time that I was thinking to myself. I heard of so many accidents, eg air crash, car accidents, etc. Whatever you can think of. I told God, I said, 'God, when You called me to go to you, I will go willingly.' I cannot avoid not going to the Lord when He calls me. That means, anything from accidents or anything. I mentioned that I won't commit suicide, it is just not right. I mean, God gave you a life and He wants you to experience it and you throw it away just like that?

No Summer?

I am planning to work during the summer of NZ. What do you think? It gives me experience and not forgetting the money earned. I am thinking of applying one for the next summer. I surf the internet and found some websites offering summer internships. Not bad, I am going to apply one next year. I just got an email about summer internships. Not getting one this end of the year, I think I will enjoy this coming summer. If I take on the summer internships, I won’t be able to go back to see my parents. But I have to think, this is for myself. I can go back for 3 weeks in February if I really wanted to.

So embarrassing

It was so embarrassing when phone either rang or just the message alert came in class. People would just stare at you or the lecturer might turn to you and said could please turn on your phone on silent. It’s not that I did not turn on silent. I accidentally press the music on. I think I went bright red and even swear. I think it has happen to me few times already. The first time, it was my mum who called me and I had to end the call. The second time, I forgot to turn the phone on silent and my friend decided to txt me. I think this is the third time. This taught me not to play with phone in class or even don’t bring it to class. I’m still going to bring phone to class, it’s not high school anyway.

Rebellious or not

I don’t know what to think. I told my mum once that I want to save money to buy a car. I didn’t say when but I mentioned about the disadvantages of not having a car. I tried assuring her that I won’t simply drive the car to anywhere. Yes, like I would really do it. My good side is in control.

I listen to my parents when they told me not to take up a job that requires me to drive. I know they are worried which is why I didn’t continue. I could have not told them I got a job or could have told them I gave up the job when I did not. Well, it’s just that there is a reason that I should listen. What if something happens to me? Then, I know I would disappoint my parents and I could lose their trust.

My mum actually told me to save $30 from the money they put in my bank account. I have a feeling that mum thinks that I want to save the money to buy a car. Yes, I am trying to do that. Mum said that never mind that I couldn’t get the experience and the money, just do not take the job. Yea, I understand. Actually, their opinions are important to me if I am about to do something big. Big for me means buying a car, getting a job, etc. I know it sounds lame, so what? I am still my parent’s little girl. Hahaha. Who cares. I love being my parent’s little girl. But I still have to make my own decisions. I am growing up anyway.

P/s: To those readers who just started to read this blog, thanks. I am just saying what I thought and I hope it does not offend anyone who reads it. If it does, drop me a comment.
