I am back again this time from another trip. Went to Newcastle. Holidays as well. At least I enjoyed myself. Anyway, I guess I was away for too long.

So much things happen to my flatmate. I just hope she is ok. After she texts me that she lost her father, I was in shock. It made me realise that sometimes we take things for granted in life. We enjoyed ourselves too much and did not think of others. I think I do this kind of stuff. Well, it's not that I want to say to people. I just want to say how I think of myself. I think I do enjoy things too much without thinking for others.

So, I should focus on my family while I am at home.

I think I do eat a lot when I am at home. More like twice the amount I ate when I went to other place or either friends' house. Weird.

Also want to say, two cousins of mine has a new domain with their own names. It's just so cool to have one. It made me think of getting one. But really, I don't think I can write nice posts just like them. But I do need to learn. Anyway, I should really focus on doing this kind of stuff in January when I have more time at home.

Yes, I should also spend some quality time at home. Actually, this will be my holiday in London. So yup, I enjoyed every single day I have spent in London. I also lazed around, truly my holiday.

Holidays

As I have mentioned about travelling to Paris in the previous post, I should talk about going to Edinburgh as well. It was really fun to hang out with relatives and one of the best trips we had despite no amusement parks like Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studio's Park. Though I had fun at Disneyland, it is not the same as having relatives and family members around.

Anyway, I wanted to put some photos here from the trip but I haven't chosen any yet. Will do that right after I found a perfect photo.

Look at this photo. Isn't it wonderful to look at it? It just looks so nice. I was telling mum that I was stepping on French soil at the moment. We did not went up. Just looking from a distance and taking photos. I don't think we had enough time to go up as we had to go to other places as well.

Holidays

Hmm.. On hiatus for quite a long time. I travelled to places with my family. It is really wonderful to visit new places and experience something that you have not experience.

It is also wonderful to spend time with family and relatives. When you have not spend time with them for a certain length of time, you tend to have more fun than usual and you will also appreciate the time spent.

Anyway, I am thinking to blog about the wonderful places I went. But in a different post as I need to choose the photos. The sceneries at those places certainly wowed me.

Messy

What a mix-up. Just now we logged on internet to check on hotels to stay in for our trip to Paris, we found out that there is no shuttle from the motel to Disneyland. Stupid, then we had to look for buses service route and couldn't it too. Later, we tried looking for the phone numbers so we can contact them, also couldn't find it. What a poor service. We were planning to stay in Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch. From the sound of the name, I just have a feeling that it's not a good place to stay in. Well, let's just see how it is. So hopefully things are going to be ok.

Did I mention that I think I will probably talk about my travel here? I think I should cos I am running out of things to say. I usually always blog about where I went and how much fun I had. I love blogging about where I went cos I was excited about the place I went to. And I think I went to quite few places too. Anyway, I will go look through my folders and look for good photo to put it up here.

Another thing I wanted to say, I found out that my blog has really low rank in Technorati. I had a chat with my cousin and she said it's mainly about people linking you. I guess I don't have a lot of friends who blogs and link me. Sigh, well it probably is good at some point because you probably don't want people to find out about your blog easily. It would be scary not to know who reads your blog.

The other day, I woke up to see mum and her friends talking. I overheard them talking about flying to USA for holidays. Then, I dreamt that I flew to California, USA for holidays. It must be really fun to play in Disneyland or just anywhere within USA. Oh I just remembered, I think I wrote a post on DialAFlight before. Maybe they have flights to USA. I was talking about paid blogging a few posts earlier. It pays me quite well though it was only a little. It is enough for my pocket money. I think I am only a beginner blogger. And I wouldn't consider myself a part-time blogger. I blog just for fun and just for my satisfaction. I blogged so that my relatives and family or friends can see just how I am coping with studies and life away from home.

I was also thinking, since taking up sponsored posts from few paid blogging, I should probably make my blog better by having good posts, not angry posts. But it doesn't matter if I express my feelings here, right? I promise to use appropriate words. Maybe I can talk about my travel as well. I don't think I would put photos here. Tour

I toured around London today and it was so tiring. Much more tiring than the last time I went with mum a year ago. I discovered a lot more stuff, like say Science Museum and Natural History Museum. I went to some parts of the museum I haven't been to. Well, it's also because I was walking around both museums by myself and wasn't really enjoying alone. It's good to have cousins to go around. Now, I think I can sleep more cos I am tired. I do enjoy my sleep very much. :)

I did not mentioned that on the Wednesday, first whole day I spent in London, I actually saw an accident/someone running away from a shop. I don't really know the story but what I saw was a guy coming out from a car, tried to run away from 1 security guard and another man looked like policeman. Wasn't it scary to see that kind of stuff happening in front of you. I was reading the newspaper this morning and I read an article about an accident involving one person killed and few people injured. Imagine a horrifying accident occurring in front of you. You would be tramautized. So, let's all pray for everyone in the world.

Still jetlag

Really, I think I find it a bit difficult to understand the English accent here. The pronunciation is really different compared to what I speak back in NZ. Sometimes I need to ask them to repeat or I just simply decide what they are actually talking about.

Last night, I went out with sister and her friends. They say London never sleeps. Yes, there were still cars and people walking about. But, midnight in Christchurch is like, no traffic and there are not a lot of people walking about. I bet my friends would prefer this kind of place and I bet we could even have supper at different restaurant and we wouldn't even have problems figuring out where we want to eat or do.

Yay! I got one PPP post to write about today. Happy. I haven't got a lot of opportunities to write about lately. Anyway, there's nothing much to do at home nowadays. Basically, I just watch tv whole day and go online to check emails. I recently enrolled for next year's course but it also depends on my results for this year. I just hope that my results are ok. I was really scared when I went for my exams. I just hope to get average marks. I did my best though.

Fantastic

Life is wonderful when you are having your holidays. Sitting at home just watching television, reading going online and bumping around really are fun. But at the same time, it's really boring because knowing me, I like to do something useful like earning money. So far, I don't have any ppp posts to take. So, it's really boring bumping around. I borrowed a few story books from the public library to read since I am free. I wanted to borrow books related to the course I am enrolling next year but the library don't have those books.

I also have been watching tv programmes like the discovery channel, national geographic etc. One of my favourite is Disney Channel but they don't really have interesting movies or series to watch at all. I asked mum if they do have Heroes. Apparently, they do but I would need to browse the channels to find out which one and what time. Hmph. It takes time and I couldn't find any in the afternoon. Nevermind. I will not give up. :)

Should I change the date and time in this blog? Cos it is NZ timing and I kept thinking that I wanted to blog when I know I don't have to. But but, I should just blog whenever I want to. I just realised today is 23 November and the next day after that is my sister's birthday. Hmm.. I should wish my sister happy 13th birthday. She is turning 13. For a moment, I thought she is still 12. Oh ya, she said that she is taller than me but I can't see any difference. I think we are both same height. Maybe you can say that I don't want to admit but really, I cannot see if she is taller than me or not. Maybe we should use the measuring tape. Hehe. Ok, I should get back to sleep. It's early in the morning. I woke up automatically cos I slept early last night. I was tired and sleepy. I wanted to go online so I can chat to friends who are back in M but none of them are online so I am going back to sleep. I am going window shopping later and the library. :)

Boo

After coming back from my kayak/Abel Tasman trip, I was left to clean up my flat. How annoying. My flatmates left some stuff in the fridge and freezer. I didn't clear the food that my other flatmates left there. I only cleared my close flatmate and my own stuff. Wow, both of us got so much food left and I couldn't finish it the last few days even though we didn't eat out. I gave some of the rest to my friends and my landlord-to-be. My friends even commented that they don't think they can finish the food. I forgot to tell them to give to others who are staying back.

Anyway, I am back at home and it feels wonderful though I do miss gatherings with friends. Nevermind. There's always next year. So far, I have been relaxing at home. It's back to doing house chores, washing up and vacuuming. Yea, I am doing vacuuming in the afternoon later when I think none of my friends are online.

Wonderful

It's wonderful to be back at home. I just had my first meal at home. It was definitely delicious and I bet you that I will be fatter when I return to NZ the following year. Anyway, my flight was quite good and I am sleepy now. So, I will blog more when I have the time. Hmm..

Kayak

Kayaking is actually a fun and interesting activity to do. Though it is dangerous, but it is really a once in a lifetime experience. I pushed back my date to go back later just to go on this trip with my friends. I was so nervous on that day and as I sat in the kayak. I was afraid of the kayak not on balance enough. It was really tiring kayaking non-stop as well. On the first day of kayaking, the weather was really good and I find it easy to kayak. Oh, you know what, I feel seasick while I kayak. How stupid can that be? I felt like vomiting all the time but I did not. The kayak journey from original place to the place where we stayed the night was 4 hours. But we kayak for more than 5 hours as we went to other beaches and stopped there. We also kayak around a small island. The second day, the weather was really rough. We managed to reach the original place where we started. I kept wanting to give up on the journey but my friend who was sitting behind me encourage me to keep on going. The waves were quite big and I kept on thinking, oh no, we're gona get overturned. If we got overturned and couldn't get back into the kayak, we have a flag to wave for help. I was so ready to do that but eventually, my kayak buddy and I reached the shore safely. We were all practically covered with salt from the sea.

Trip

Yup, I was on hiatus. I went on a kayak trip with my friends. It was really fun and interesting and very adventurous. I am glad I went on the trip. I mean, do I even get a chance to kayak if I don't agree to go on this trip. This trip also bonds our friendship even more. I got to know them more as well. Though it is scary to kayak in the sea but the sceneries and views are so nice, so incredible. We went to one of the beaches which is one of the top 5 beaches in New Zealand. My friend asked me if I wanted to go again. I don't really know how to answer. One thing that I don't really want to go is that I was seasick. I couldn't believe that I could get seasick.

I don’t understand how some people need to go to the beach to calm their emotion. I used to think like that but now, I know it doesn’t really work. I only like to go to the beach just to get the feeling of being sad and stand there with the wind blowing the hair.

Another thing, sometimes I feel as if I cannot express my feelings here even though I called it my dark side and black blog. I feel as if people criticize me for saying all these stuff because they think I should be happy that I am lucky to have a good life. Well, I don't really know what to say because it is what I usually think. But don't you think that everything has its hard path. This is life. It's not going to be easy. Just because rich people or people who can afford things have a good life, it doesn't necessary mean that they really have a good life.

But I am still glad that I can still express a bit of feelings here. I feel that I cannot say anything on the other blog because I have to maintain reputation. Well, I have no comment for that. It is kind of true if I do mess up what I said, I will end up with no friends and lonely for the rest of my life. I don't really mind that though because I think I am expecting that.

Fear

I actually have a fear. A fear when someone who doesn't really know NZ rules and yet drives around. I got nervous whenever they drive and don't follow the rules. You might not know what might happen. I just discovered this when a friend was driving. I don't doubt people's driving but sometimes I doubt if they drive so fast and doesn't slow down when nearing the traffic lights or even bumps. I wouldn't say I drive better because I haven't been driving for nearly a year. I wouldn't complain if people can drive me around but I am just nervous whenever those kind of people drive around without proper NZ license. Not that I say if you don't have NZ license, you don't know how to drive. I mean, I am just scared for them. I am scared if my worst nightmare come true.

Essays

I am still studying. Just took a break from writing the essays plots. There are so much to study for my geology paper. I don't know how some people would know everything and answered pretty much what they know for exam. I mean, there are 10 questions given and you are only to answer 5 questions. Anyway, you wouldn't know what kind of essay questions would come out so you have to pretty much study for everything. I would be amazed if someone actually go and memorize the whole information from lecture notes and get even 95% for the final exam. Sigh.. I am so frustrated and scared at the same time for this exam. I want to be able to answer everything and also can choose whichever question I want to answer. I also don't know if I will be able to remember everything I read from lecture notes and lab notes. It's a challenge to memorize them.

Heroes

This series, heroes are really scary but very interesting. It is a bit like X-men, only they are not that heroic. I am now watching Season 2. It's scary when you are watching alone. I mean, you can guess the story plot and what's going to happen. For me, I would close my eyes. It's a bit violent and I can tell you there's a lot of blood. Ahh..

Goodbyes are hard

It is sad to say goodbyes to friends who are leaving to go back to Malaysia for the summer. My tears nearly dropped when we hugged and say goodbyes. Some of them will be seeing each other in Malaysia but I will only see them next year when I come back. So sad.

Fun

3 down, 1 more to go. This afternoon exam? Hmm.. I don't really know how to answer exactly. I wouldn't say it's ok or not ok. It's more like half half. I just hope that it goes ok and not that really bad grades when I get the results. Right after exams, I went with friends for dinner and headed to Warehouse. They bought some stuff. I don't really know if I needed anything. I think I should start packing bit by bit. Anyway, tonight is the Guy Fox's Night. Don't know if it's spelt that way or not. I wanted to go with friends but none of them have a good plan of all of us going together so didn't really go.

Interesting

Did I mentioned that I actually enjoy going to mass on Sunday in the morning and then another service, Mosaic in CCC. Now, they have a network in Facebook. Very interesting, right? It is expanding. I feel like I am part of them. I'd try to ask people to come visit the service. Mosaic has just started in September. That time, I didn't want to go to another service cos it's going to take up my time. But I went anyway for the first service. There weren't a lot of people. I expected the service to be different and long. It is not like what catholic church has. Mosaic has people playing for guitar and keyboard. Sometimes they have people playing drums. Personally, I prefer piano-played songs. It's nicer to listen to.

I am just taking a break from studying. I am seriously hating to study. I have motivation to study but I just don't have the patience to sit down and study anymore. I have another exam tomorrow and another one on Saturday. Wish me luck.

Don't you think garage is one of the most important part of the house that you usually visit at least twice a day? Why not twice a day? When you need to drive, you would go to the garage to get your car. Well, some people store their car in the garage. I know my parents does that at home. Why not. Cars are valuable so you would want to store it in the garage, right?

Talking about storing stuff in the garage, you should think about having cabinets in the garage. You can put the kid's toys in the cabinet after they are finished playing with it during the day. Or you could put the brooms or shovels in the cabinets. Better still, you can put your gardening equipment in there.

I went to YAG, stands for Young Adult Group and we had discussion about Chapter One in Luke. At the end of the discussion when the group leader asked if we got any questions, a friend asked if she will also feel the same thing as what we have just discussed. I think we discussed about our faith and how if we don't believe that, will God also silence us? Hmm.. well, I think we shouldn't doubt God's power. He will always be there for us no matter what. From my previous post about how God don't answer us immediately, well it's the same. He chooses a moment to tell us. I am sure He has his reasons and I won't judge or ask. I don't think it is right to ask too much. He has given us so much so we shouldn't question too much when He gives us what we have been praying for or wanting something.

I used to wonder how credit cards work like. That is because I see people swiping the card whenever they go shopping. Then I found out that having credit cards are like having debts. And I did change my mind about having a credit card. But after joining payperpost (should be known as IZEA), I realise that I would need to have a credit card as they are paying me through paypal. So now, I am thinking of getting one. Having a credit card is not that bad, I guess, as long as you don't overspend yourself when you go shopping. Just don't buy unnecessary stuff and be determined to be on your budget.

I wanted to give example but I don't really know what kind of example I should give. I always feel that God gives me the answer I want to know at the right time He thinks for me.

Sien-ness

Just finished another exam today. I think this was ok, considering that I know most of the answers. But what I am worried is that I may get marks taken off just because of a small mistake of writing something. It's like that with my assignments as well.

I also wanted to say something. I think sometimes people take for granted that I don't get angry with them or get annoyed with them straight to the face if they said something insulting. I don't mind if it's just a small thing but I think this is why people just continue insulting cos they think that I won't mind so much. But they are so wrong. Maybe I should try to show some emotions.

I find myself stop smiling to friends nowadays. I used to smile at them and try to make conversation every time I see them. Now, I am lazy to open my mouth. Because no one will say anything whenever I say something. I can't be bothered to make any effort since some people don't make an effort for themselves. But won't this make me selfish? Sigh.. whatever I do is wrong and whatever other people do is right. Why can't they be wrong for once, it is always me.

That is my title of my blog. Yea, it's always me. Wrong of this and wrong of that. I am stupid. I am lazy. I am selfish. Whatever I do is not right. Whatever comes out from my mouth are stupid. When will I do something right? I am such a useless person to live on Earth.

Stress

Isn't it weird to be studying all the time and yet you are not ready when you walked into the exam room? Sigh.. sometimes when you feel like you are ready for a test or exam and you thought you studied enough or the best you can, when you walked into the exam room and the moment you looked at your exam paper, you panicked and thought, oh no I don't really know how to answer the question(s). You feel that you are too over-confident, then.

Why why why do you always feel like that?

Anyway, the recycle bin is piling up again. But there are no more plastic bags to put rubbish into it. None of them even try to get plastic bags from supermarket when they go for groceries shopping. Sigh.. why why why must depend on girls. If they are not depending on girls, they should at least try to get it for the flats.

Sigh, I should get ready for my next exam, which is in less than 2 hours. Seriously, I don't feel like studying anymore. I am sick of studying. I kept on repeating the practice/exam paper. I just have a feeling that it's not going to be same type of questions from the exams paper. It's going to be hard like my first exam. And I am going to fail it. Aaaah..

I got to say something. You know how I quit my job? I told my boss that I will be studying for exams. But that Monday, it was Labour Day and my friends and I went to the mall to check out the sales. And, my flatmate and I saw our boss and her son there. She was pointing at us and saying that, I thought you guys wanted to study. My flatmate quickly gestured me to walk away from there while smiling. She thought it was scary but I think it’s alright. Anyway, what right does the boss have to say if we don’t want to work?

Don't you think this does not apply to me? I am not even on the track to become a politician. I am not even a good talking person. Everything comes out from my mouth are rubbish.

Flatmates

Bastard. It's what I should call him. I was wondering if he really knew the saucepan belongs to my flatmate or not. He can't be that dumb. My flatmate said that he might not know that is ours. But surely he is not that dumb. He still continues to use our saucepan. I plan to put all our own stuff aside so I hope he doesn't simply use our stuff. Maybe I should label? I won't be able to label one by one. Maybe I will put a paper there with our names and say do not touch.
This morning, I walked into the kitchen to find the saucepan sitting there with dirt inside. So how is that possible that he don't know the saucepan belongs to us. I think he deliberately put it there. Man.. at some point, I am so going to scold him. Three more weeks. Let's just remove our own stuff and don't leave it there. That way, he won't be able to use it.

Exams

Every day was study study study. I can't wait to finish off my exams. But first, I would have to study. That word again. I have been looking at the exams preparation questions and memorise the theory and how to answer those kind of questions. What I am afraid is that what if they have a different kind of questions? And I don't really know how to answer them? But they should test us on what we have learn in class.

Well, I'll just do my best tomorrow. I will study what I can tonight and prepare for what I thought what questions will come out. Wish me luck and good luck to my friends who are also having exams.

The first ever I saw an actual garage was when I went on a holiday to California. My family and I were in the shuttle with a few other people. The shuttle carried about 8 people. So, the driver sent the locals back to their houses, I am guessing they were locals there as the driver sent them back to their house. I was in awe when I saw the house designs. The design was so different to the houses back home. I recall looking at the garages as well. I mean, I never seen a garage before that. Anyways, the garages came in different types from wooden to concrete. You should have concrete garages because personally, I think it stands still in earthquakes, I think.

Maybe getting up early in the morning and having less sleep is a bad idea. I woke up on Wednesday morning feeling so sleepy and not be able to concentrate. Maybe I should just study till I am sleepy at night and then get up later in the morning.

Hotel Rooms

Anyone going to travel around UK soon? Hmm, actually I am hinting on myself. I will be travelling with my family soon and it would be a good idea to start looking for accommodation around the place we are going to visit. Sometimes I think I find myself very picky when it comes to hotel. Every time I stayed in a hotel, I would check out whether the beds are comfy or not. I am also quite particular with the toilets. I would check them out. I would take photos of the hotel room as well. Sounds weird, right? But that is me. One good thing is that this Blackpool hotel website will let me check how the room will be like so I won’t be that curious when I stay over. There's a review if no one wants to believe me.

Break

A break would be good so a few of friends and I went to watch Rush Hour 3. It was the last day the cinema showed it. Movie was really good. We thought it would be really good to have the whole cinema for us because I think everyone would have watched it by now or they don’t want to watch it at all. It seem like yesterday I just watched the first movie. I think I watched the first one in Kuching. That time, it was only me, mum and dad. Wow, probably more than 6 years ago. Anyway, we didn’t really have the cinema for ourselves. Two people came in last minute but I treated it as if we were the only one. I just laughed loudly. Haha..

Sleepy Head

Don’t you feel uncomfortable sleeping on bed that you don’t like? I used to like sleeping on a soft bed, maybe I was so used to sleeping on one. But when I went back home, the bed I slept on was hard and I always took a long time to fall asleep. There were few nights that I kept tossing and turning until my sister yelled at me to stop.

Switching back and forth of hard or soft beds is also not good for your body. Maybe I should get two beds, one for me to sleep at home and another one for me while I am abroad. Well, I should probably have a good bed like French beds. Those are quite good beds. I would definitely want to choose a wooden bed. Wooden beds always fascinates me.

Someone remembers me

Guess what? Someone messaged me in facebook saying that she knows me and asked me if I remember her from primary school. I asked her what class was she in and she messaged back that she was in the yellow class. I was in the green class so her name doesn’t ring any bell in my head. I really cannot remember her. Maybe she knows my cousin and that was why she remembers me.

Amusement Parks

I always have a thing for amusement parks. Talking or thinking of amusement parks make me excited. Why is it? Could it be the image of roller coasters? Yup, I definitely love any type of roller coaster from dry ones to wet ones.

Isn't the amusement parks cool? I just love the feeling of going down and screaming.

Since I am going to London in three weeks time, I should probably thought of going to this theme park in UK. Blackpool has the UK’s oldest amusement parks and is also one of the UK’s biggest tourist attractions. They have some of the UK’s and the world’s best rides voted by visitors. I would love to sit on the rides. It just sorts of gives me happy feelings. Finishing

The term is finishing soon and once again, we are asked to clean our flats. Two of my flatmates are gone and one went to Australia. It’s not fair that we have to clean their parts as well. I’m glad that this flatmate of mine did his part. But what I don’t understand is that why in the world does he rely on us girls to do the trash. He is useless in a way. Doesn’t help out in taking the trash down. Nevermind. 3 more weeks.

I just realised, I was the last one to arrive at this flat beginning of this year and I will also be the last one to leave the flat. Isn’t it cool. Haha. Actually, it’s not. I will miss my flatmate. Note there is no s.

Study

Uni has finished for the year. No more lectures.
Sigh..
But time for study and exams.

I mean, which student is rich enough to have his or her own income. Even if they are working, the income probably don’t cover a lot of expenses.

Friendship

I seriously don't really know what is going on with friendships these days. When you're having so much fun, you made promises to each other that you should always try to hang out together if you're so busy. But now, I see. Where? I do not see any.

I seriously don't really know if I should say this or not. But I feel that things does changes a lot this year. I can say that my flatmate and I don't really hang out a lot with friends whom we used to hang out last year. Sigh.. it's such a pity because we did have fun together. I always enjoyed being with my friends especially that I can be a bit childish with these friends.

Now, I think we went separate ways. But it shouldn't be that stupid course changes and other stupid stuff. Where is that friendship forever promise?

One thing I wanted to say, why do I find that when a friend is angry with me and told me the truth and I can accept that. When it comes to me being angry with them, they cannot accept it and choose to ignore me. What kind of friend is this you tell me?

Back to my story, I have tried, tried and tried to make an effort to hang out with them and it's always, sorry, I can't make it. I know it's not always possible to hang out. But.... tell me.

So, is it wrong for me to go look for other new friends and to hang out with them?

Really, I am confused with these stuff. It's complicated and I do not think there are any solutions to these. Sigh.. sometimes I just feel like giving up. No comments please.

Again Again

This flatmate of mine, as I have mentioned who ask one of us girls to take the trash down, I don't know what is on the mind and he himself don't take the trash down.
I was thinking, what the hell, you asked us to take the trash down and you yourself don't even do it.
I bet no one will want to flat with him, judging from the behaviour and how he does the chores in flats. I wonder how in the world did he manage to do the chores in semester one in another flat.

Should I get a flat meeting and re-plan the schedule who is to take down the trash and who do this and that? But there's only one more month. Maybe I can just stand doing the chores for one more month. ONE MORE MONTH.

Now I really understand the real working. Well, I never expect to be working perfectly and never do mistake. I am still not going to give up working even if I am making mistake.
Note that I am not quitting my work just because of miscalculation.

Anyway, it's not my fault because missing $10 because I know I did count and take money from customers properly. I was never told to check how much was the change in the cash register before I started. It could be the boss making mistake also. Why must it be me.
Anyway, forget about it.
I am glad that I have had an experience of waitress.
I think I have enough of waitressing job. I think I should concentrate on study from now on.
I want to stop working also because I wanted to spend my time for study.
At least I can have some peace and time for myself and also study.
As long as everyone is happy, I don't mind doing this.

Flatmates

Two of my flatmates have moved out.
One has moved out for good as he is going back to his hometown and going off to United States. The other one moved to another flat. I didn't really think what he would be thinking of our flat but yea.. anyway, just now, number 6 came to tell flatmate and I that one of us should take the trash down. Well, I did bring a few down when I can't stand looking at it piling up. I really felt angry and pissed off at some point. Ask us girls to do it when he himself is not even doing it.

Anyway, I cleared the recycle bin and arrange to put them in different plastic bags so it's easier for us to take it down and put it in the selected bin. Sigh.. thanks to my friends for helping to take down the trash. They were saying that they do it for community. Sigh.. I have no choice cos my male flatmates are useless.

I actually went to number 6 room to tell him to take down the trash as well. I said that my friends and I have taken some of the trash down and he should take some down as well. I also told number 5 to take the trash down as well. I shook my head after I told number 6 and number 5 saw me.

But it is an experience living with guys, at least this will prepare me to be more strict with people I am going to flat with in the future. I don't mind living with someone I know. I would definitely tell them to do the chores if I want the place to look clean. I don't really care what they think of me. I don't care if they said I am nagging and clean freak. That is cos I don't like to see the flat/place dirty.

I guess it comes from living at a clean place at home. I am glad that I learn to do some chores at home. And I know the meaning of clean and tidy. I can be messy so don't get me wrong if I meant clean and tidy.

Dramas

It seems like cousins and sister are all watching dramas.
I also want to watch.
But I don't want to watch Chinese dramas.
They always portray the main character girls as the innocent and stupid type.
I mean, what do they expect. The story line always start with that.
Crisis, crisis
Come in the good guy who they always portray as the rich one. The bad guy.. etc..
Hate that kind of story line.
Anyway, I don't really understand what they are talking about as well.
My mandarin is not that good so I wouldn't know that much.
I think I rather watch English dramas.

Labs are not fun

I am so glad that I finished my geology lab for the year. Don't really like my geology lab. I always feel sleepy in class. It's not like it is really very interesting. It's like in a tutorial where you go over some notes and then you do the exercise. I wouldn't want to consider it a lab. You don't do experiments like in physics or chemistry lab. I think physics and chemistry lab are even more interesting.
It wouldn't be like, you keep looking at the clock to see what is the time. In physics or chemistry lab, it's more like you spend time on the experiment and really concentrate and getting data to write reports. Actually, it's not fun to write reports but the experiment is more fun to look at.
Talking about geology lab, I hope second year geology is not going to be like this. I hope it will be more to that.
Really, if it's going to be like that, how am I to survive till I finish?

Flatmate and I went to a friend's house for dinner last night.
Another friend came to pick us and other friends up.
On the way, I saw a car accident.
It wasn't really that bad.
It was just the front bump but I can hear the tyre scretching sound.

I don't want to sound like I am talking out of my dreams.
And I am not dreaming. I remember I was awake.
Then, my whole room seem to shake. Then, it was my bed.
Stop.
I was thinking, what was that.
For a moment, I thought it was a dream.
But it wasn't. It was an earthquake.
Much later when I got to uni, I asked few friends of mine and they said that one of the screens in class was also shaking which was unsual.
See? I did not dream or imagine.
It was an earthquake.
Wow, I have experienced earthquake three times. The first time, it was in Wellington, I was still sleeping that time. I had my dad to confirm that it was indeed an earthquake.
The second time, I was staying in anther uni accommodation and I had a few friends confirming.
This is the third time.

Buses

Maybe I should say about the buses here.
Everytime I mention about cars and buses, people seem to think it's so easy to take the bus.
Yes, I know it's easy to rely on buses. But do you even think what time the bus comes?
Why do you think I complained so much?
Do I ever complain about taking buses during daytime?
No, I haven't even complain about that.

I don't like to rely on buses at night.
Also, buses run once an hour at night.
There are 2 bus stop but one is about 10 minute walk. So how do you think I can walk in the dark to that bus stop? It's the same way to university. So why not walk to uni instead?

So, why do you think I complain about it.

This is also another reason it's so hard to take the bus at night to where I am working now. Why not walk instead of taking the bus? Ok, maybe I can take the bus but to walk to that bus stop, there is another 8 minutes walk. The path to go to the bus stop is very quiet and dark though there are lights. I walked the path few times with friends. Those few times, I always try to make conversation and talk talk and also sing.
Anyway, I know I won't get anything out from this. So why can't I just let it out with peace?

Nightmare

I had a dream today, I dreamt that I went on a holiday with my friends somewhere and all of a sudden, I got a call from mum, asking me where am I. As I don't like to lie to mum, I would normally tell the truth (if she doesn't ask, I won't tell, but if she ask, I would have to tell) so I told her that I was at the airport, going on holiday. Then, the voice from the phone said, 'Ok, you're not getting your car.' I panicked and told my friends that mum is not buying a car for me. Aih.. Then, I woke up.
Why in the world did I dream like that? Maybe I was scared as mum told me that if my results aren't good, no car for me. Well, I don't mind not having a car as most of my friends have cars. I figure I could ask for rides and give them money to pay for petrol. That is what I am doing now anyway. I just gave a $10 petrol voucher to a friend yesterday when she came to pick me up for work.
Then, I thought, oh no, I might actually need the car next year because I don't think I can do my assignments at home since I am moving out from university accommodation soon. From where I am staying now, I can connect to university network to the matlab computer rooms to do my assignments just from the comfort of my room. Sigh.. nevermind, the most I can do is just do my work during the day and stay at home at night even if it means that the assignment is due at 5pm the following day. What can I do? I need to use the programmes in uni matlab computer rooms. I don't want to risk walking to uni at night. I mean, it's quite bright when you walking in uni area but I am moving out into a homestay where there's not a lot of light for walking and it takes 25 minutes to walk to my Math & Stat Building. Not the uni itself. I don't need to go to engineering building which is going to be nearer.
Aih.. enough of my crap. There's always going to be some distraction huh. Nevermind, I will just save up my own money to buy a car, don't think it will be in time for next year. It will probably take me few years to collect up for the amount. Then, the car will be for after I graduate. It's only a matter of time anyway.
I will write more about what my friends and relatives opinions' as of the car decision. But I can say now that friends do support the idea of having a car while my relatives said no, you don't need to have a car. I guess you guys will only understand if you are in my situation here.
Maybe the best is stay back in university accommodation.

I know the assignments are going to be over soon and guess what?
The last assignment seems so hard. I just feel like screaming it out.
Just came back from uni. No mood to continue doing work. I feel like taking a holiday.
But I can't afford to. I need to finish it off.
Assignments do consume your time.
I keep wanting to start studying but it's always assignments.
You don't just get the answer or got the idea of doing it after sitting down.
You need to sit there, refer your notes back and forth and sitting there for hours before you actually understand and get it. That excludes from drafting your assignment out.
Who ever say you just get it the moment you start reading. That is why, I hate being disturbed when I am doing my work.

I can't wait for my assignments to be over.

Don't worry, I still go to my church mass as well. I think it's ok going for both as long as I am going for my own church mass.
I should really find out what songs I sang in my church back in Lower Hutt, I always like the songs there.

I cleaned up the sink again last night and finally. Finally.
I saw a dishwashing liquid in the kitchen and the trash being taken down.
Also, the recycle bin stuff. FINALLY.
Someone did it. And there's toilet paper as well.
Good. So, I should put up the notice when I think there is too much rubbish and needed someone to buy the dishwashing liquid. Well, I can do for this year till Nov.
Luckily it's not for long term. Otherwise I really cannot stand this kind of life.

Anyway, I am going to study for a bit. I know it's Friday but who cares.

Do I enjoy photography? Actually, I do though I am not professional. Wouldn’t you try to at least aim for good lighting or aim to put everyone in the photo when you are taking photos? Nowadays, digital cameras are one of the requested electronics gift for the holidays. So far, my favourite moment in a photo would be photos of families, relatives and friends. I don’t really know how to use my camera with the lighting features, flash features. I like the camera to have lots of features because you can take good quality photos. How do you like yours? There are lots of other camera brands, for example, Nikon Camera. I can finally relax these few days. Just finish two assignments this week but there's another one due the week after so it should be ok. So, for now, I can relax for a bit.
This semester is full of assignments. Sigh.. but it's good cos I don't have mid term test.

Work was good so far. Just got off from work and guess who I saw. Two friends whom I never expect to see appear at work. Well, don't really know them very well but I guess they are ok. I meant one of them though. Yea, it's nice to see them as well. I think they were sort of very surprised to see us working there. Hahaha.. funny huh..
A few friends also came to eat. It's a nice feeling to have friends going over to work to see us and also eating there. Let me serve them. Muahaha..

After finishing class yesterday, I came back to do assignment. Half way doing my assignment, I got thirsty. Both the water bottle in my room have run out of water so I decided to refill it in the kitchen. Guess what I saw in the kitchen, dirty sinks! So I decided to clean up.
Mind you, I cannot stand the dirty sink and dishes piling up.
So after cleaning everything, I looked at the time and it was nearly 5pm and my flatmate announced that she is going to work. So, I decided to take shower.
Don't worry, I did not clean everything, I only clean up the stuff that I think my flatmate and I used. Wash a few cutlery as I know I will be using it.
We ran out of dishwashing liquid and so far, no one bought it. The empty bottle dishwashing liquid belongs to my flatmate and mine. And I have put up notice to tell the boys to buy dishwashing liquid and to bring the trash down.
Another thing, those trash have been lying there for few days and no one bring it down. Hey, we have a schedule of who do this and that and yet, no one does it. This is so frustrating. The trash does not include the recycle bin. The recycle bin is even worse. It's already piling up and no one bring it down.
Maybe I should put up a note in front of their room to tell them to do it.
I seriously wanted to tell the boys that we should just buy our own dishwashing liquid. They do not even share buying it. Just use like that. We have told them in the flat meeting earlier in the Semester 2 that we take turns buying the dishwashing liquid.
Stupid right? Feel like straggling them, pull the ear and drag them to the trash site.
Excuse me for now, I am going to go put up a note on their room. If I don't, they wouldn't do it.

I realise that I did a lot of experiment participation this year. It is good, right?

Someone ask me why I sigh in the second previous post. I wanted to say something but I think I have forgotten. How silly but how to expect myself to remember every details of my life?
I just had one of my labs but this one is a 3-hour lab. I seriously hate my 3-hour lab. But what to do? It's going to be like this for the next 3 years. I mean, I don't mind 1 or 2 hours lab but 3 hours?
I am always sleepy in class unless I really am very focused.
Anyway, how to expect yourself to be focused for everything. Sometimes you tend to go off your concentration, right?

I think it is really hard to keep friendship with someone who hardly makes an effort to meet up for catching up. What if you have a very close good friend who you and your friend used to spend a lot of time with, suddenly now seems so far. And also don't really catch up with you and your girlfriends. How would you feel? You would feel guilty and try to catch up with her, right? What if the friend don't make an effort and don't really care? How would you feel? What would you suggest if you got solution for that?

I wanted to say something else as well. I cleaned the kitchen today. Now, it's very clean and I am hoping that it stays clean till end of next week. Stupid flatmates of mine. No one make a move to buy dishwashing liquid. Why the kitchen is so dirty. I think the boys expect us girls to clean it. Well, what I can say here is, we are not your maids. Clean the kitchen yourself. Clean up your own plates and stop using our pans and bowls. My poor bowls. Being used by stranger.
